Personal Profile

As a creative and detail-oriented game designer, I specialize in crafting immersive worlds, engaging narratives, and challenging gameplay mechanics. With nearly two decades of experience as a skilled level designer and dungeon master for D&D, I have honed my skills in storytelling, character development, and world-building.

 

I hold a Bachelor of Game Design degree and am now seeking employment opportunities in the games industry as a level designer. My goal is to leverage my skills and passion to create innovative and unforgettable gaming experiences for players worldwide.

Game Designer | Octarine Arts | Present

Finch & Archie, PC, 2024 (hopefully)

  • Co-founder of small indie game studio funded by Screens West.

  • Designing and developing levels for a two-player, narrative driven experience that focuses on utilising character-exclusive abilities to communicate and share the unique perspectives of each player to solve crimes.

  • Collaborating with art and programming teams to create immersive game experiences.

  • Proficient in Unity and Unreal Engine 4 & 5, with experience in game design, level design, and scripting.

  • Skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Aseprite, Google & Microsoft Suite, Blender, and Wonderdraft, utilizing these tools to create high-quality art assets and game assets.

  • Familiar with version control systems such as Gitkraken and Plastic SCM, ensuring efficient collaboration and code management.

Knead Bread & Coffee

March 2022 to February 2023

Barista / Kitchen Hand

  • Worked as a barista and kitchen hand at Knead Bread & Coffee, where I developed expertise in coffee preparation and sales techniques.

  • Assisted with production and selling of artisanal bread.

  • Greeted customers and provided recommendations on coffee and bread choices.

Western Australia Museum

November 2022 to February 2023

Game Design Intern & Project Lead

  • Led a team of designers and developers in the creation of a VR project based on Alice in Wonderland.

  • Coordinated meetings and maintained communication with the WA Museum liaison, SAE teacher, and team members to ensure project success.

  • Developed level design and narrative elements to enhance the player experience.

  • Managed project timelines, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
