In the world of Finch & Archie, our biggest challenge was crafting an engaging and balanced asymmetrical game experience for both players. While creating intricate layouts and captivating murder mysteries was relatively straightforward, the real hurdle lay in ensuring that the gameplay elements seamlessly fit together and made sense within the context of the game. Balancing the gameplay mechanics and maintaining an enjoyable experience for both players was our primary focus during the level design phase.

Mechanics & Dynamics
​Archie, the four-legged detective, employed his keen sense of smell to follow scent trails, while Finch, the human counterpart, relied on his trusty journal to uncover vital evidence and clues. However, the true challenge lay in effectively communicating and sharing this information with your partner. The mechanics revolved around the intricate puzzle of conveying crucial details, fostering collaboration and synergy between the players.
